MKT 115: Shopify

D2C brands, sellers and agencies all need people who can build and run Shopify stores, and it is a strong freelance skill.

What you'll learn

Shopify: the full skill set

Eight units, each practised on a real or demonstration brief.

Store setup

Plans, settings, domains and store structure.

Products & collections

Listings, variants, images and good product copy.

Payments & shipping

Indian payment gateways, COD and shipping rules.

Themes

Customising a theme to match a brand.

Apps

Reviews, WhatsApp, upsell and analytics apps, chosen carefully.

Conversion

Product pages, trust signals and checkout that sell.

Marketing integrations

Meta pixel, Google, email and WhatsApp connected.

Liquid basics (Tech)

Small theme edits with Shopify’s template language.

How you learn it

Learn in the morning, do it by evening

Two classes from 10:00, then four hours of supervised practice. Shopify is practised on real or demonstration briefs, never just read about.

  • You build a starter store for a sample D2C brand on a development store
  • A mentor reviews it like a client would
  • Advanced learners test and improve conversion

    Concept class

    The idea behind each shopify topic, tied to a business problem.

    13:00 – 15:00

    Supervised practice

    You do the work on tools, with a mentor in the room.

    15:00 – 16:00

    Mentor review

    Your work is marked on a rubric with written notes. You revise.

  4. 04
    Friday

    Present & add to portfolio

    Every Friday you present, and the final version joins your portfolio.

FAQs

Questions about learning Shopify

Will I need to pay for Shopify?

No. You practise on development or trial stores. Paid apps are used in demonstration mode where needed.

Can I join only for Shopify?

Not yet. Shopify is taught inside our full programmes (AI Marketing Strategist or AI Technology Strategist Advanced), because it works best alongside the other skills a working team needs. You learn it on real briefs, reviewed by a mentor.

Is it online or offline?

Offline. Classes and supervised practice happen at our studio in Shakarpur, East Delhi, Monday to Friday, 10am–5pm, near Nirman Vihar and Laxmi Nagar metro.
